Yes, Jesus stood for the oppressed, for the poor, for the marginalized.

But the purpose of his life here on earth is way, way, way more than that.

He lived that sinless life, and died as that blameless sacrifice for us -- being in our most undeserving, sinful state. (cont.)
He rose again, proving that He is God, offering us 1) the salvation from the world's greatest problem: sin.
the rise of tyranny, greed in power, dictatorship, the detrimental impact of capitalism, and all the many other manifestations as such in the classes -- these are rooted in an individual's sin. before becoming the struggle in the classes
Jesus died once and for ALL (Rom 6:10) and that means he died for us all -- the marginalized, the oppressed, the oppressors, the rich, the poor.. all of us. who are sinful. and unqualified in his sight and presence.
(cont.)

2) Jesus being the sacrifice for our sins, offers forgiveness to anyone who repents and believes in him
3) eternal life and our reconciliation with the Father!
And that is because of his love, mercy, and grace. As we look unto Jesus, and celebrate his (conventional) day of birth, sana ito yung maalaala natin. And the very thing to highlight.

Let Jesus, being so loving, merciful, and gracious; both our Lord and our Savior, (us, in our most undeserving state) be the highlight this gospel, at any time, in any way.
