The UCP wants us to turn on each other.

They spin a narrative that cuts are necessary (they aren’t), that public employees get more than they need (they don’t), and that this could all be implemented without pain, if it weren’t for someone else’s waste.

It’s a lie. 1/7

They want us to believe that even though we know the pain that cuts will create in our own area of expertise, elsewhere else in the system lazy, nefarious actors are what is causing the problem.

They want us to blame our neighbours for a shortage they created. 2/7

The UCP cut primary care and try to rewrite the system to force family doctors to practice 10 minute medicine, leaving complex and vulnerable patients to navigate alone.

When doctors stand up for their patients they call them lazy, greedy, and all manner of names. 3/7

The UCP tell School Boards they will fund enrolment growth, let them budget on that basis, lie about it for months. Then call the budgets they approved “waste.”

When teachers and @albertateachers highlight the damage the UCP is doing the UCP calls them the problem. 4/7

The UCP cut Police funding, cut municipal funding, then blame #yyccc for the tax increases or services reductions the UCP created.

They are doing this in every municipality in the province. 5/7
There are countless examples of people having to make terrible decisions because of UCP cuts.

Those people are not the problem.

This did not have to happen.

The $4.7 billion giveaway has not created a job yet, but it did cause all this. 6/7

We must stand together.

The UCP want you to believe it has to be this way and the best you can do is cut your neighbour so you don’t get cut yourself.

They want private worker against public worker.

They want us to blame each other, not them.

Don’t let them win. 7/7
