The manifestations of institutionalized and social misogyny is still encountered everywhere in the world— in laws...(5)
restricting reproductive rights (specifically birth control and abortion) which avert a woman from dictating her own life, social barriers to accessing political and economic power, rape culture, sexual harassment, and acceptance of domestic abuse...(6)
The premise for this patriarchal abuse against women stems from religion(too). All three Abrahamic religions have historically devalued women; in fact, the fall of man is placed right at the feet of Eve, a perfect indication of the role women will play in the religion. (7)
