When markets reverse there is often a catalyst. Is $BA a potential catalyst. I do not think this is a 'software fix' for 737Max. It should've been tested/certified as a new airframe, not a mod/upgrade. Is it too early for $BAQ?
Southwest is the standard bearer for 737 ops. They merit close observation. https://twitter.com/markets/status/1206906089922551808?s=20
This is not being priced into $BA or equities in general. https://twitter.com/iv_technicals/status/1208069686937767938?s=20
I am going to go on a limb and say this isn't good news coming: https://twitter.com/DeItaOne/status/1209110442804744192?s=20

A new CEO, while refreshing, doesn't ensure a viable commercial 737Max. The issues there were years in making.

H/T @BibleHuey for sharing this. The story is not improving, the plane still isn't flying. $BA's tentacles reach to a majority of the U.S. economy. https://wolfstreet.com/2020/01/20/after-blowing-43-bn-on-share-buybacks-in-6-years-boeing-scrambles-to-borrow-10-bn-on-top-of-the-9-5-bn-credit-line-it-got-in-oct-to-fund-the-surging-costs-of-its-737-max-fiasco/
It doesn't take 10 months to modify software that should never have been needed in the first place if the plane was just a modification to an existing airframe. http://This.Is.Not.A.Software .Issue.
This is turning into quite the thread on $BA https://twitter.com/FirstSquawk/status/1219706844085551104?s=20
Good note from @LONGCONVEXITY that this isn't isolated to Washington state U.S.A. https://twitter.com/LONGCONVEXITY/status/1220777955841974272?s=20
@iv_technicals continues to be on the Boeing case. https://twitter.com/iv_technicals/status/1225452369657434112?s=20

Good, especially since we will be writing huge checks to clean up their mess and they have nothing else to do right now. https://twitter.com/RedboxWire/status/1248632380878802945?s=20

That 737Max may be recertified at all without major structural change is reason for optimism. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-boeing-737max/boeing-737-max-not-expected-to-fly-before-october-faa-preparing-directive-idUSKCN24M2EE
Good news for Boeing. I hope this holds, still some skepticism. https://twitter.com/pivotanalytics/status/1290355884716064770?s=20
$BA took down a huge slug of debt/credit line to enhance cash earlier this year and has been making 737 Max progress. This is noteworthy: https://twitter.com/RedboxWire/status/1291063157067194369?s=20
Making progress on 737Max. Heard from a friend at Boeing today. The 787 move to SC hitting hard. https://twitter.com/LiveSquawk/status/1313574268979032064?s=20
End/737Max/Boeing: This thread started Dec ‘19. Boeing appears to have made it thanks to a VERY accommodative corporate debt market. COVID hurt BA business and also provides a useful distraction from the now re-certified 737 Max. https://twitter.com/boeing/status/1329058897022345217
