Listen, anyone who thinks they know how Arteta will do is talking bollocks however he’s presumably an expansive manager. Very difficult to play expansive football with Arsenal’s squad. Guaranteed to have at least 2/3 shit years. Squad suited to pragmatism + rely on top forwards. https://twitter.com/SkySportsNews/status/1206590934181392384
Not only are Arsenal bang average technically the main issue is physically. Possession football = win it back as quickly as possible because you’re best with the ball. How can you win it back ASAP when your whole defence and midfield is physically deficient. I fear for Arteta...
One thing that Arsenal have got right about the Arteta appointment is he’s a project manager. Someone with a fixed idea and philosophy who’ll come in and buy players for that style of play.

Not the popular answer but ultimately nobody knows how well he’ll do in the long run.
What is absolutely true is that managers who try to play ‘expansive football’ mostly fail at the elite level. Man management, individual quality and balance are usually the best traits of an elite possession based team - will be very difficult to build this at Arsenal.
The likelihood is that Arteta will fail. Possession based style without elite players often does. Guaranteed short term (1-2, possibly 3 year) struggles anyway.
