Below is a screenshot of all the parking lots in Denver - surface lots and parking garages. The total number of lots is ~650 different places to park in Denver County (mainly downtown). Only ~20 of these lots are owned by the City.
Below is a screenshot of only the surface area lots in the City of Denver. From my untrained eye, 50% of the quarter-mile radius around downtown Denver appears to be surface lots. In the entire data set I looked at, there are ~53,000 parking spots.
Monthly rates for these lots can be anywhere from $0 at a City-owned parking garage on Colfax 🤔 to $225 at Court and 16th. Daily rates range from $0 to $24 (16th Ave and Lincoln).
Here is a screenshot of bike racks (purple dots) vs. surface lots. Not sure what to think of this. Keep in mind, surface lots *do not* include street parking for vehicles.
