The problem with our debate about healthcare is we focus on whether or not the help people need exists. But when it's only available for those who meet certain requirements, oftentimes by the time we prove someone needs help, it's too late.

My favorite person in the world is already gone, but there's still so much left for us to lose. We've only ever had, and only ever will have, one last chance. Nobody's safe until everybody's safe.
