i’d been writing something about chiron lately because it was something i wanted to see connections with via numbers and i think our chiron placements are when our soul numbers experience deep pain and limbo. when the energy of our soul number is very imbalanced.

i’m not done synthesizing these thoughts yet but i know that working with chiron is synonymous with inner child healing.

soooooo.

i think as chiron relates to numerology, it is reflected in a combination of both the soul and personality numbers, with more affinity towards the soul number.

the soul being the seat of wounding & the pain and the personality being how the wounding is expressed outwardly.

i also experience the soul and personality numbers as the interplay and connection between our unconscious (soul) and conscious (personality) minds and experiences. the soul number + chiron shows the psychological effects of the wound and the healing desire that is created.

the personality number + chiron shows how the soul's woundedness can express when it is both addressed and not, as the personality has a shadow.

the soul and personality are obviously not the same. just as the personality is not the Self but instead the way the Self expresses and is interpreted by the world.

i'm still fleshing this out but i like where my own thoughts are going so far.

if using myself for example.

i have chiron in sidereal cancer in the 11H. i'm a soul 5 with personality 4. a lot of my wounding comes from abandonment and forced isolation, betrayal, and feeling a deep lack of nurturing and love in my most formative stages of life.

chiron extends to many different aspects of the self and the soul, touching us in places that could also impact our physical health as well as our emotional, mental, and psycho-spiritual health.

the number 5 as a whole struggles most with belonging and not being certain of where it fits in this reality. in extreme imbalance, the number 5 can experience a complete disconnect from life and connection to other life forms. it can be more of a loner than 7 and 9 combined.

the number 4 can experience wounding in the form of not having the proper foundations from which to build a solid sense of self, likely stemming from trauma and/or abuse that causes soul fragmentation of some sort. or complete disconnect from the root energy (mother, 4H)

if comparing the interaction of the number 4 with the number 5 to astrology, it can be considered a square.

because my brain works this way.

when i think of 5, i also think of leo and 5H energy. 5 is still the manifestation of the body which is also the home of the soul and vital life force. the sun.

and 4. i think of 4H. moon energy.

my chiron squares my sun and my moon.

because chiron in cancer lends itself to the emotions and sensitivity, this tends to lead to a lot of emotionally driven actions especially in an attempt to self soothe. because cancer is ruled by the moon, in the body, this represents the fluids and the mucous.

cancer is associated with the womb, the ovaries, the breasts, the stomach, and the mucous membranes in the body, especially the digestive tract, linking it to the other luminary, the sun, because the digestive tract is a part of the solar plexus.

physical and emotional expressions of chiron in cancer can be emotional eating which can lead to the development of disordered eating patterns that mirror the state of emotions and body image (restriction, overindulgence, remorse, guilt, repulsion, shame, etc).

because i study mind-body and herbal/plant medicine connections, chiron in cancer connects with the mucous membranes in the gut, which are a part of the body's boundary system, there could be issues with digestion (which relates to the stomach meridian -- assimilation of info)

this can lead to not knowing how to properly assert boundaries with others and overloading the body with absorbing other people's emotions, thoughts, and energies. which can lead to nervous system blow out.

and this is my starting place ...

to me, i just made perfect sense but maybe later today i will ask a question and see how these patterns express in others. it's easy for me to study myself.

but that's my train of thought. i am focused on chiron and the 6H-12H axis for now as far as astrology is concerned.
