Do men talk to their friends about correcting behavior that harms women or do they just tweet "men, we gotta start doing better" ?
men will say they don't intervene when strangers harass women cus 'safety' but they don't intervene when it's their friends either so..
pls don't come here w/longwinded recollections of how you drew your sword for a woman's honor and died. do you talk to your friends or not?
Confront your friends, do it however your dynamic allows. If behavior goes unchanged, maybe reevaluate friendships?
I don't believe that men are incapable of doing things to ensure life is at least a little more warm for those who deal with such harm.
Do men talk to their friends about correcting behavior that harms women, whether cis or trans, or do they just lie about it in my mentions?
be honest w/yourself about the things you & your friends do that contributes to the harm women face, that isn't actively disrespecting them
Sometimes I go down this thread and look at the timelines of the men who were calling me stupid or were saying i don't know what i'm talking about (they thought i was a woman when i tweeted this) because "not all men".
