Second question - Is there really violence in Assam?

Yes it is.

Yesterday, before curfew, many vehicles were torched on GS Road. Road dividers were broken and set on fire. Clashes happened between police and protestors.

Today, it is worse. No matter what AASU says that they are conducting peaceful protests, it is far from being peaceful.

Protestors had gathered first in Latasil Field, and then spread to all areas of Guwahati.
