Similarities between Aquarius and Virgo...

Aquarius and Virgo are both pretty realistic about how life goes. They know things don’t always work out and they’ve become used to expecting disappointments to happen to them.

Aquarius and Virgo are usually independent and don’t rely on others to get them where they need to go in life. They‘re a little pessimistic, so they feel that the odds are more in their favor if they work towards their goals independently.

Aquarius and Virgo also tend to go out of their way to help others but in different ways. Aquarius is more prone to helping strangers or people who aren’t very close to them. Virgo is prone to helping family/friends. Aquarius oftentimes puts a wall up towards family.

Both of these signs go out of their way for others for the same reason... their expectation of others is way too high, so it makes them feel like everyone is incapable.

Aquarius pretty much feels like the human race is trash lol. They’ve been fucked over, seen a lot of messed up things and have had bad experiences with family. So they carry a bitterness with them that people will fail you and they don’t allow those wounds to heal.

This causes them to distance themselves from their family because they won’t allow themselves to see outside of their own emotions and perspective on how things were done in regards to their childhood.

This also creates somewhat of a savior complex that they have to be a “good person” to those in need. They feel like humanity is hopeless and people are stupid, so they might as well help where they can.

Unless it’s someone who triggers them, which is anyone they have an emotional attachment to.They LOVE the people in their life, but their bitterness towards how they’ve been treated in the past swells up when trying to be open with someone who can potentially create new pain.

So with family, Aquarius is actually more selfish and independent. They don’t “have time” to extend themselves too much because that means they would also have to acknowledge they care about the person they’re helping and that’s uncomfortable for them.

Even Aquarius does help family, they’ll be a little mean about it to keep that distance where they don’t have to be open.

Virgo will kinda help strangers if it’s convenient but they’re so wrapped up in their own lives they don’t have time for all that. Virgo instead extends themselves to those close to them for control over their environment. Control keeps the relatively comfortable.

Virgo is almost never TRULY comfortable so their control issues are always flared. Even if they aren’t physically doing things for their circle, they keep mental note of everyone’s schedule, what everyone needs to do, what appointments they have, what they need to work on etc

Virgo’s love micromanaging. They feel like their personal life will go to shit if the lives of those around them go to shit anymore than they already have. Virgo thinks everyone’s life is a wreck including their own.

Virgo runs from being vulnerable. Virgo doesn’t know how to just sit down and let someone else take care of things. Virgo is afraid that someone horrible is always right around the corner.

But, Virgo doesn’t acknowledge that they literally don’t control everything in the world and it hasn’t ended yet lol. Virgo feels like everyone fails because when they reach their bar, they inch it up so the person didn’t technically “reach it”.

Virgo has a sliding expectation bar that is set up to make anyone including themselves fail.

Nobody can realistically meet the expectations of Aquarius or Virgo.

Aquarius won’t consider anyone’s perspective except their own which keeps them bitter and closed off to seeing what others have to offer and how rewarding it can be to actually give from an open place

And Virgo won’t give anyone credit for the things they CAN do right and this includes themselves. So, work on that.
