Does food delivery help restaurants drive business?
UberEats. To partner with UberEats, the restaurant pays $350-$500 as a one time fee, and then 30% commission on each order.

The restaurant is not permitted to increase prices on these orders to recoup lost revenue.
Door Dash. restaurants pay a (negotiated) fee of about 20% of each orders price. Door Dash does not allow prices to be increased for Door Dash orders to recoup lost revenue from the sale.
Considering my long string yesterday I’ll keep this brief today. Restaurant margins average 3-5% according to Toast POS. Quick math tells us it is worse to sell delivery than standard transaction. Does it drive business? I’m curious but don’t have the answer yet
