Holy shit! The economist just changed their aggregate so that 50% of the polls are Economist polls and another 30% are CNN and Quinnipiac to put Pete ahead of Bernie. You can not be serious
They legitimately just banned Reuters from their average despite it being there for months. Unreal.
The numbers don’t even add up. Bernie is literally over 40 points ahead of Pete, which with 10 polls means he’s 4 points up on him. Yet they show this
In fact there is no cutoff where I could get Pete and Bernie to each have 14%.
Even if their aggregate was just the last 3 polls they listed, Bernie would still be up on Pete. Wtf are they doing?
The closest I could come up with is if you only counted the last 3 polls they listed, it would be Bernie 14%, Pete 13% and that’s literally an aggregate of 2 Economist/YouGov polls and a Quinnipiac poll and even then they aren’t tied
On the left is what the aggregate used to show and on the right is what it currently shows btw. IPSOS = Reuters
So they took out Reuters so that they could put in an extra 2 YouGov‘s and then just made up the averages anyway on top of that

Btw this is why I don’t count the Economist YouGov poll in my aggregate anymore. Because G Elliot Morris runs it and is a complete hack

They’ve added Reuters back in now that people complained... or it’s just a coincidence and everything the economist does just happens to be to Bernie’s detriment.... you decide
