Thread of movies I’m watching for the first time.

(Yes, some are shocking.

#NowWatching Walk the Line (2005)
Walk the Line was BRILLIANT. Loved the storyline. I know Joaquin Phoenix is an amazing actor, but his portrayal of Johnny Cash was superb. And he can sing too

Laws of Attraction (2004)
It was really entertaining and I found it quite hilarious
(my reaction to being accidentally married to Pierce Brosnan would’ve been different
and even though it wasn’t real in the end, the whole evening looked like so much fun
)

And I think Thorne Jamieson would be an awesome friend. Kind of a dud, but super funny and you’d have a great time with him... and he’d drive you to the airport last minute (while barely dressed
)

#NowWatching Whiplash (2014)
Wow. Whiplash was so intense!
you rarely get a moment to sit back in your chair... another great collaboration between director Damian Chazelle and composer Justin Hurwitz. Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons deserve every award they got and more

Frost/Nixon (2008)
So good! Even without knowing every detail about Watergate, you completely get what the whole deal was about, why it mattered so much to bring Nixon to justice (which ever way). Brilliant cast!
Now I’d so love to have seen the theatre version.

Bright Young Things (2003)
Great directorial debut by genius Stephen Fry. That cast just kept on giving! Dan Akroyd, Michael Sheen, David Tennant, James McAvoy, Jim Broadbent, Peter O’Toole, Imelda Staunton, Richard E. Grant, Mark Gatiss... brilliant music & cinematography

And let me just say this: @michaelsheen aka Miles is the prettiest of them all.
