A thread for my #UGA fans:

It’s #SECChampionship day and Georgia fans are going to be pumped and passionate. But please keep something important in mind as you watch, cheer and tweet today.

This is one of the youngest teams in the nation. The Bulldogs' roster consists of 68.5% freshmen and sophomores.

Not only does that mean the majority of these players have never experienced a big moment like this, it also means they are literally just kids.

These youngsters may rise to the occasion, or maybe they’ll piss themselves and make huge mistakes. Either way, they are kids who are out there trying their best to represent their school and win.

If you get upset or frustrated, I beg of you, please don’t tweet to these players

Be positive. Be supportive. Be the best of the Bulldog Nation. There are 12 other SEC fanbases who would love to be able to cheer their team on today.

Just as they are representing UGA to the best of their abilities, we should all represent UGA with class and dignity.
