I really need to get a pic of Split next to someone. I want to show off his general size, I usually keep in mind the idea that he's like the size of a van but unsure that helps get it across.
I've said all this before and I've shown this before, a lil mock up I did on a lovely piece I got from http://www.furaffinity.net/user/biglovealicia/ 6 foot of ASS so when on all fours his butt reaches to above head height on the average person and from snout to tail tip he's around 20 feet long????
Reason I like him at this size is he seems manageable to get around normal spaces but can also accidently make TROUBLE in those spaces. Certainly won't be able to fit through a normal house front door but he'll poke his necks in through the kitchen window for a chat and snacks!
Since malls have double door entrances, at a squeeze he might be able to get in. He might not be able to accompany you into most stores but he can still hang with you at a mall, though you might have to help out if he knocks things AND people over with his hips and tail!
Supermarkets too usually have double doors, most aisles will be a squeeze. You'll have to stop him from opening the freezers in the frozen section and gobbling up the ice creams. Dragons are bad at understanding having to pay for things since they usually just take what they want
Another plus of Split being this size is you get to have a nice picnic with him on his soft stomach à la Reluctant Dragon.
