4) Note that the DDP programme was piloted from Oct 2016 for TACT (terrorism) offenders on licence & those on TPIMs & previously subject to Temporary Exclusion Orders. They all got theological, ideological & psychological intervention. In Dec 2018 it was extended to prisons.
5) Therefore, the DDP (Desistance & Disengagement Programme) was extended to prisons in the same month that Usman Khan was released on licence with a tag, i.e. December 2018 - https://homeofficemedia.blog.gov.uk/2019/11/05/fact-sheet-desistence-and-disengagement-programme-2/
6) Presumably therefore, he didn't go through DDP. 7) Before DDP in prisons, the only relevant programme available was Healthy Identities Intervention (HII). A 2018 evaluation of 22 cases of HII work with convicts: 14 Al-Qaeda, 2 far-right, 1 animal-rights, 1 "other" political extremist, 4 gang-related: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/727966/Intervening_with_Extremist_Offenders_A_Pilot_Study.pdf
