Does Satan Need To Exist?

When I tell people that a literal Satan or Hell does not exist & explain what they are, they reject the idea. Then they cling to the belief that they follow God so they don't go to a literal hell.

Why reduce your relationship w/God to that?

They reduce their relationship with God to a ticket to heaven.

It's essentially gold digging.

A reward for your obedience.

Then they turn round & talk about love of God & God's love for them.

Where is the love in this idea? There is none to or from God.

Would you not rest much easier knowing that God would not allow a literal being like Satan to exist & prey on you?

Wouldn't you rather see the goodness of God rather than fear what he may allow to happen to you if you're "disobedient"?

Wouldn't you rather understand God?

And know that he understands you & just wants the best for you?

It's not about "obedience" in the slightest.

It's about knowing how to have a good life & avoiding the things that will hurt you.

The message of Christ has been perverted to enslave you in your own mind. To control you & to keep you in fear.

Ur controlled opposition.

You see things like the Pope being buddy buddy with the Grand Imam or Ilhan speaking in a Catholic church & assume it's recent corruption.

It isn't recent at all.

Do you think the extreme opposition to Jesus & his message stopped when he was crucified or resurrected?

Do you think they never sat down & decided on a strategy to keep it all under wraps?

Jesus came to free you of mental enslavement.

This threatened the very effective control & mental enslavement that religion had people in.

They regained control by rewriting it to work for them. & Push people to them.

The truth is still there. It's just hidden in parable.

I promise, a literal Satan or Hell do not need to exist for you to know God & for you to love God. They do not need to exist for you to avoid sin & take the teachings of Jesus seriously. You just never had the opportunity to know the truth.

You gotta break your own chains.
