1. Mitch Trubisky made throws against DET that pros do. His big tosses to Horsted and Miller weren't just lobbing it to wide open guys.

They were well-executed passes from the pocket.

It was the first time he did that consistently throughout a game too. Encouraging. #Bears
2. David Montgomery showed what he could do when he actually gets blocking.

The guy is a nightmare to tackle. Give him lanes and he'll make life hell for linebackers and defensive backs.

I do think the #Bears should pair him with a home run hitter if possible though.
3. Anthony Miller proved beyond a doubt that he's the #2 wide receiver on this offense.

When he and Allen Robinson are clicking, the #Bears are hard to stop.

If they ever find a tight end, this passing attack could turn into something special.
4. In the two games Javon Wims has been targeted four times or more this season, he's made 9 catches for 112 yards. Both games were wins in which the #Bears QB had a passer rating over 100.

Translation? Good things happen when you get him involved.
5. Jesper Horsted reminds me of a former tight end named Todd Christensen.

Undersized and not overly fast but slippery and just a magician when the ball was thrown in his direction.

If this kid can bulk up a bit and learns to run routes?

Look out. #Bears
6. Roquan Smith must've found his power coin somewhere because he morphed into an absolute stud after Trevathan went down.

Before the injury (8 games) - 67 tackles, 1 TFL

After the injury (3 games) - 30 tackles, 1 INT, 2 sacks, 4 TFL

Wow.

#Bears
7. I lost count of how many times Khalil Mack almost had a sack in Detroit. David Blough was constantly having to get away from him, especially as the game went along.

This is why leaning on stats is inadvisable. Blocking Mack was a nightmare.

#Bears
8. Nick Kwiatkoski has bee one of the best blitzing inside linebackers in the league over the past four weeks, constantly getting pressure on the quarterback.

What's even more impressive though? He has an INT and three passes defended too, showing improvement in coverage. #Bears
9. Kyle Fuller is still one of the best cornerbacks in football. He still leads the team with 3 interceptions but proved he's so much more with that incredible tackle on J.D. McKissic.

A complete football player and one of the best #Bears 1st round picks of the past decade.
10. Something that was nice to see? Matt Nagy managed to call 11 run plays even after the #Bears fell behind 17-7 late in the first half. He made sure to keep some balance throughout the comeback.

Maybe he's finally learning some things.
