It's okay if your goals change. For the longest time, I wanted to write and publish a book.

However, I found agenting/editing which soon became what I absolutely wanted to do.

This was a weird point in my life because I felt like I was giving up the thing I was known for by everyone.

But writing wasn't making me happy while agenting was, while helping writers reach their goals was.

There is a story of my heart I hope to write one day, but through a lot of heart to hearts with my partner, and my main boo @justine_manzano , I realized it's OKAY if I need time and if my goals are elsewhere.

As you get older, your wants and focus will likely change. It's just a matter of figuring out what's best for you, both for yourself and your career.

Agenting is definitely where my heart is and I can't wait to continue building my list and sell books.
