Prince of Peace.
Jesus is often described as the Prince of Peace.
Most times when I hear this, I assume it means peace in a general sense. Peace for everyone, everywhere from all conflict, war and violence.
Which is rad.
But I think it means something more too.

I think Jesus being the Prince of Peace holds a lot of meaning to each person in a personal sense.
I think Jesus is the Prince of mental Peace too.
Peace from stress.
Peace from brain fog.
Peace from confusion.
Peace from anxiety.
Peace from depression.
Peace from frustration.

I& #39;m not suggesting that there are easy solutions for these problems. But I am suggesting that relationship with Jesus is a big part of finding peace from these struggles.
And that when Jesus said "come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" that he really meant it.
He& #39;s the Prince of Peace.
In every sense of the word.
Anyway, happy Advent.
