She literally created an entire government agency to PROTECT consumers from predatory banks and corporations. Every minute detail on how the CFPB should function. bUt ShE dIdN’t RuN iT! Yeah, because Mitch wouldn’t consider her confirmation, promoting her senate run.

Speaking of that race, she is the ONLY candidate who has defeated a Republican incumbent in a statewide race. bUt MaSs Is An EaSy StAtE fOr DeMs To WiN! That just tells me you don’t know the details of her race, and how significant it really is.

After the CFPB was created, EW was asked to challenge Scott Brown for his senate seat. She was told she would never win, because Brown was incredibly popular and Mass had never elected a woman senator before, but she should run anyway and hopefully push Mass to Dem in the future.

But EW knew she could WIN. At the beginning of the race, she was down by 17 points. That’s a hell of a hurdle to overcome. But she put in the work. She talked to constituents and promoted her ideas and policies, and WON her election as the 1st woman senator from Mass by 7 points!

She overcame that giant hurdle and WON! And she’s been a great senator since 2012, fighting for average Americans every day. What do these points prove? EW saw a major problem in how consumers were treated by banks and corporations, and how systemic the issue truly was.

So, she fought for Big, Structural Change in the federal government and created an agency to help prevent that. Obv, she should have run it from the get go, but Mitch refused to even consider her. So, she decided to find another way to help the American people, and ran for Senate

She put in all the hard work of running a campaign against a very popular incumbent Republican, and WON. Now she sees there’s more that needs to be done to help the American people, but being a senator isn’t enough to get the job done with Mitch and this administration.

So she’s finding another way to get the job done. She’s running for president to fight for Big, Structural Change and help EVERYONE.

She defeated a popular incumbent Republican, just THINK of what she can do against an unpopular incumbent Republican!
