I got the same deal from said Chinese company a little while back for a bit over half what @Trainwreckstv was offered, same terms RE only streaming a very light schedule for them.

In principle I agree it sucks. Full stop.

Motive for the deal itself is pretty obvious. They actually WANT you to stream on twitch occasionally during the contract period while streaming on their platform basically part time b/c goal is to migrate over as many peeps possible

For me it was a hard pass and might even be a hard pass for someone having a good year on twitch because trying to sell your viewers on an inferior platform (which this is) is prob not worth?

Terms sound so similar to what train described. They offered what amounted to be~$60k/month on a year term

All I’m saying is, there’s a Scarlett Johansson looking girl on that platform who definitely isn’t me in cosplay, who only streams during the time slots when I’m not live on twitch
