We all know that tactical voting will be essential in this election. But we've all seen tribalism in action, and many voters still want pacts to be formed, even if the leadership can’t/won’t sort one out themselves.
#DontSplitTheOpposition
So why won't candidates stand down to enable a tactical vote? I want them to publicly explain, knowing that lots of voters want this from them.
#DontSplitTheOpposition
I've looked at the data from the MRP poll, and searched for the constituencies that have a Tory majority in the poll, but where tactical voting would make a difference.
#DontSplitTheOpposition
There are 34 seats where the share of Tory and BP votes was less than the share of Lab and LD votes, i.e. 34 seats that could EASILY be won by tactical voting. The poll predicted the Tories would win 359 seats. But 359 - 34 = 325: NOT a majority.
#DontSplitTheOpposition
I want to ask the candidates themselves why they can't reach an agreement with each other. I'll start with these 34 seats but there are many others that could be won with tactical voting.
#DontSplitTheOpposition
I'll list the 34 seats and any others I do so you can see if I've asked your candidates for their answers. Please share the relevant tweets to the candidates if you'd like them to respond, and if you'd like me to do this for your constituency let me know.

*I want to emphasise that I’m sure all candidates have the best intentions, and if I ask them to explain why they won't stand down or reach an agreement with the other candidates it's not an attack. No one should be attacking them. I just want them to explain.
