1/4 Today’s adventure took me and a friend out to central Washington to Leavenworth’s Christkindlmarkt (Xmas market) - taking the scenic US-2 route, we saw lots of snow, and we stopped to admire the mirrorlike Lake Wenatchee (my hands were cold from taking the underwater pic!)
2/4 video looking northwest from the shore of Lake Wenatchee - temperature at the time was around 29° F (-2° C) – at Lake Wenatchee State Park
3/4 once we made it to Leavenworth, we checked out the town including the Christkindlmarkt during the afternoon before grabbing some delicious German food in the Bavarian town (not pictured: schnitzel, sauerkraut, red cabbage, all currently residing in my stomach)
4/4 but the best part was last as we came back outside to enjoy the Christkindlmarkt after sundown as the hundreds of thousands of lights made their appearance - I’m really glad I finally had the opportunity to see this! – at Leavenworth
