It sucks.

And by that, I mean the media is driving bullshit narratives about candidates and those bullshit narratives are shaping people’s views of those candidates before we even get to non-white states.

These views are determining who makes it to one of the sixteen thousand debates.

it’s like the media is trying to drive all the candidates of color out of the fucking race before they even hit New Hampshire.

it’s like watching a trainwreck in slow motion—a trainwreck you’ve already seen before.

And FTR, I’m not talking about actual critiques of candidates’ policies. I’m talking about the way the media is treating certain candidates as opposed to others.

People are doing it now. Making videos to set the record straight and whatnot. Organizing. Talking to people. Knocking on doors.
