Today I got to hear former abortionist, Dr. Kathi Aultman, describe going from doing many abortions, to being totally against it. Hearing her describe the three women who contributed to her conversion was tragic. 1/

The first woman was callous - had had multiple abortions in the past year, was using it for birth control, and felt no shame or remorse about it. When Dr. Aultman didn’t want to do another one for the woman. Her colleague pointed out it wasn’t her place to judge the reason. 2/

And she replied, “That’s easy for you to say, you’re not the one doing the killing.” And those words coming out of her mouth shocked her. The second woman, when offered to see her child’s ultrasound image, said, “I don’t want to see it, I just want to kill it.” 3/

Dr. Aultman was horrified at her hostility towards her own child. And the last woman was a mother of 4, who with her husband, felt they couldn’t afford another child, but so loved her born children and knew what she was doing, that she sobbed the whole time. 4/

Dr. Aultman came to realize she wasn’t helping any of these, or any other women, and she was unjustly taking the lives of innocent people. She credits her church community for pressing her on the issue, but in a truthful, upfront and loving way. 5/
