The staff in WA also operate seven radio stations and reporting teams across nine sites in WA; Perth, Albany, Bunbury, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, Karratha, Broome, with staff also in Esperance and Kununurra.

No other media in WA delivers the public service of Emergency Broadcasting the way ABC does.
Emergency Broadcasting has become more and more resource heavy and expensive in recent years as the frequency of fires increases.
