Prediction: Ian and Mickey decide to marry between episodes 7-8. Ian is 100% committed to their marriage, but Mickey is hesitant and gets cold feet at the last minute and backs out while they are waiting to get married at the courthouse.(fighting outside courthouse spoiler scene)

After the disastrous almost wedding. Mickey starts pulling away from Ian more and more, starts hanging out with his father and making reckless decisions. Ian keeps trying to confront him to no avail. Mickey starts going on about how they should maybe see other people.
Mickey, upset that Ian can’t understand why he has hang ups about marriage, starts going out more and seeing people(or pretends to). Ian, distraught over Mickey’s behaviors and unable to reach him, tells his siblings he will start online dating in hope that Mickey will be jealous
And drop his act and come back. Ian doesn’t last long online dating and while Mickey is leaving the house to go on a “date” Ian finally had enough, follows Mickey on his date and declares his love for him, telling him they don’t have to be married he just wants to be with Mickey
