Two of several people injured in the London Bridge stabbing have died. It started in Fishmonger’s Hall at a Cambridge University-linked event on criminal justice. The attacker, wearing a hoax bomb, had connections to terror groups, and was known to the police. No claims yet.
London Bridge suspect was 28-year-old Usman Khan: born and raised in Stoke-on-Trent; jailed in 2012 with UK-born 8 others for his part in a plot to bomb London Stock Exchange; released in December 2018 on agreeing to wear an electronic tag and have his movements monitored.
#Breaking In a brief statement on the official Telegram messaging service outlets, the Islamic State group (IS) has just claimed responsibility for Friday’s London Bridge attack. It said the attack came in response to IS calls for targeting citizens of the anti-IS coalition.
