Waiting for @nytimes to write a piece on Bernie Sanders and the epidemic of white men failing up. He graduated college then immediately moved to lily white Vermont, bought land w/ his inheritance $, and didn’t work for 17 years until winning mayor by 10 votes. He was 39.

When Bernie graduated college, only 10% of white men had a BA Degree. It was prestigious. He chose not to use it and chose not to work. He even had a child w/ his GF, they broke up, and he left the financial burden on her. She was a single mom on welfare.

What was Bernie doing in those 17 years without a job? He was stealing electricity, getting kicked out of his commune and running for governor multiple times and losing. He also freelanced morbid articles like women fantasizing about gang rape and K-12 should be a child’s choice.

Even his own official Senate bio just skips from graduating college at 22 to being elected Mayor of Burlington at 39. With nothing to show for the 17 years in between. This is white men #failingup and it’s time THAT’S reported on.

I’d also like to point out that in the 17 yrs Bernie wasn’t working, he was running for statewide office and losing. His 5th attempt he aimed lower, went for mayor, and barely won by 10 votes. Had he received 10 fewer votes in 1981, his ass might STILL be jobless.

This is all just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Bernie Sanders. He’s a wealth of problematic shit. Here he is in 2007 with racist Lou Dobbs, ranting about immigrants coming here, stealing our jobs and contributing to American poverty.
