3/ Lawyers & lay citizens need to plan for this legal scenario next Nov, which will make Florida 2000 look like a beach vacation:
Imagine a reverse 2016 map. Dem wins popular vote, wins 270+ electors, but by 1% or less in the decisive states.
GOP lawyers challenge and delay...

4/ Just like in Florida in 2000, the recount and canvassing are slow. GOP lawyers challenge every ballot.
Key states (WI? MI? etc.) blocked from certifying their electors in time.
The Roberts Court claims to "learn the lesson" from Bush v. Gore... conveniently not intervening...

5/ When the electoral college meets Jan 2021, GOP lawyers & judges will have blocked blue states from being counted. The Dem and Trump would be short of 270.
The House then decides the presidency.
But it'll surely be a Dem house, right?
Wrong.
It's by state delegation.
