I finished my CGM experiment today after 2 weeks of seeing how different foods affect my glucose levels, mind & body. It’s been fascinating, interesting, surprising & I’ve learnt a lot.

I enjoy eating low carb food & I feel much healthier both physically and mentally.
This was yesterday’s stable blood glucose levels with low carb food. I had eaten high carb the day before so I woke hungry but only had time for eggs but they kept me going all morning. #lchf

Eating high carb & sugar had me all over the place with glucose levels & how I felt.
Symptoms of bloating, furry discoloured tongue, sore patch on tongue, swollen tongue, inflamed sore gums, foggy head, low, lethargic, poor sleep, irritable, emotional, achy knees, palpitations

I was surprised my glucose levels went higher eating fruit than a donut (sugar & bad fats) I still can’t believe I ate one but my excuse was I’ll see what the CGM shows! I went shopping hungry, was feeling very emotional & was unprepared. Emotional eating really is a thing
