I attended the #StudentsSolidarityMarch in Lahore today.
Here's a thread of moments I experienced:
Each poster was different yet each poster spoke to me. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
The message was clear in every language. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
We have had it enough. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
We are rising up, from every corner, and we will fight for our rights. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
It doesn't matter who we are and where we come from. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
We have waited a long time for this day. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
And we are together now. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
On this day, we remember Mashal Khan who reminded us why we need to fight. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
Mashal's father spoke to the crowd, sharing how his son used to tell him that the first step is the hardest. And his son took that. #StudentsSolidarityMarch
