Okay about this #FreeGameFreak we gotta talk y'all are too damn gullible. TPC (The Pokemon Company) is a joint venture OWNED by Gamefreak Nintendo and Creatures. Their job is brand management. They can't dictate what Gamefreak does. 1/???
Dictating Gamefreak would in turn mean they're controlling creatures AND Nintendo and y'all know damn well that isn't happening. Keep in mind the Pokemon trademark is solely owned by Nintendo and the copyright is split between Nintendo, Gamefreak and Creatures 2/??
And let's talk about that 144 hour work week claim. There are only 168 hours in a week. That would leave gamefreak employees with 24 hours to themselves for an entire week. Divided by 7 that's a little over 3 hours a day. 3/???
Unless those employees lived near the studio they couldn't even go home and shower or grab a bite to eat. Not only that but the Japanese government implemented a law last year that limits overworking in order to combat their work culture. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/04/02/new-labour-law-puts-limits-japans-overworking-culture/
Gamefreak is at fault for sword and shield. Not creatures, not Nintendo and not the Pokemon company. Saying TPC is controlling them is like saying Atlus can control Sega. Or Marvel can control Disney. That's not how it works. Please do some basic research. This how y'all look
Also something else I want to add. The person who came forward with this claims to be an employee. Supposedly he verified his identity but he went to Reddit.. okay why not Kotaku or literally any other publication. This would be the story of the century.
Hell he could refer to the Japanese government about the working conditions and hours and TPC would be fined heavily and it'd probably be a national scandal since this dude is "legit". But he's not and y'all want to believe GF there's some evil villian pulling the strings.
