The current Karnataka cricket team has only a handful of Kannadigas.

There are a whole bunch of Malayalis (the bulk of our top order really)

Our best batsman is a Marwari. Our captain is a Pahadi.

The rest of the team are Tams and Gults, and some local fellows.

This really is why the Karnataka cricket team is so awesome.

And when I love this team, I'm not being parochial, but I'm being a better Indian.

Oh and the best part, on the field they all speak the one language that's common to them.

Kannada.
