Part of capitalist indoctrination is ingraining the belief that stories of oppression from communist 'refugees/defectors' are the most reliable source of info rather than the people who actually live there

These ppl fall generally into two categories: poor people just looking for economic opportunity outside of the crushing sanctions and encirclement of the west who are vulnerable to economic exploitation to spin tall tales, and wealthy gusanos whose persecution is deserved

These poor people are frequently used by the South Korean/ american govt to advance anti communist messaging re DPRK and then end up dying in crushing poverty or being trafficked under the auspices of the ROK

Consider that the reason these two genres of voices are the only ones you hear and those within communist countries are thoroughly excluded is not because of their media's censorship, but yours
