I want to share something that I witnessed today. While on an hour journey back home, a grandpa passed out in the bus and suddenly everyone was on high alert and came out to help him. The gents held him and walked him to the closest seat, a lady helped call the police,
another young girl comforted his wife. Many people decided to get off at the interchange to make sure he was fine and waited for the ambulance to come in. Before I left, the couple was surrounded by 10 people making sure they were alright. It was really touching to see that https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❤️" title="Red heart" aria-label="Emoji: Red heart">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❤️" title="Red heart" aria-label="Emoji: Red heart">
I msged a friend who I had met earlier and legit said “HK has changed”, and told him about this. He agreed and said you should share this. I wasn’t going to but then I realised how far we really have come. Maybe, before people would have helped but wouldn’t have really gone
out of their way so much. This is the real HK! And I love it so much https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❤️" title="Red heart" aria-label="Emoji: Red heart">

Contrast it with the incident in China where a lady was hit by a vehicle and no one helped her. Our ways and values are so different. Hence, the line “Hong Kong is not China”.
