Thread (probably).
Not that I expect anyone to read it, I always assume that no one ever reads my tweets and just use them to vent my frustration.
Anyhow, why I would never vote conservative...
I have never voted conservative in my life. To be honest, years ago, I could not have given 2 fucks. I can remember my mum attending an anti Poll Tax demonstration, but I never really voted. Couldn't really give an arse.
However, I did vote labour when it was Blair against Major.
I voted Blair (labour) because I thought Major (tory) was a twat.
Turned out that Blair was also a twat.
The next few years were a drunken haze as I was dealing with the feeling that life was a pointless existence, I would probably be dead soon so there is no point to anything, so I'll just neck some scotch and have a nice kip.
And I now need to get off social media, and do some cooking to feed my family, so if you are patient, I will pick up this thread in an hour or so.
Anyhow, fast forward to the 2017 general election and I was utterly dismayed at May's lies. Also, I thought that my local tory MP @BrexitStewart was a bit of an arse, having seen him on the local news.
My view was re-enforced when my daughter came home from school one day and said that our local MP had visited and in her opinion he was a twat.
So I voted for my local Labour candidate, Fiona Onasanka or what ever her name is, and we all know how tat turned out.
So, me and Mrs r1ch popped off to sign her recall petition and as I was a big fan of leaving the E.U. in the subsequent by election, I voted for the local Brexit party candidate.
Sadly, due to postal vote rigging, the labour candidate, the utterly useless @LisaForbes_ won by a very narrow margin.
I would also like to add that since she was elected, she has done fuck all.
Fast forward again to now.
My feelings are that Johnson is a blithering buffoon who lies through his teeth, so when he says 'Get Brexit Done' I just don't trust him. I hope I am wrong.
Also, my local conservative candidate @paulbristow79 seems to be more keen on being an MP (he has tried many times up and down the country) than doing anything for my local community.
Also, when implementing austerity, it was a fucking disgrace that.......
Cameron and his cohorts hit the most vulnerable in society first (the disabled).
MP's are free to claim over 100 grand a year expenses and the Jumped up old farts in the house of lords can claim 300 quid a day just for signing in, but we'll save cash by killing off the disabled.
So, despite all the tory scaremongering, I will once again be voting for my local Brexit Party candidate @MikeGreeneTBP as I believe that he will work hard on local issues and is the best option to be Peterborough's voice in Parliament.
I have since learned that despite being a very wealthy and successful man, he has been working on local issues for ages. He didn't have to. If I was rich I'd spunk all my money on fast cars and fine whisky. And yet he works hard for local interests.
What the hell has @paulbristow79 and @LisaForbes_ ever done for Peterborough?
Absolutely nothing.
End of thread, dinner cooked, vote @MikeGreeneTBP and stop listening to tory scare stories.
Also, Corbyn is an idiot and I may not reply if you have commented. I can't be arsed :(
