Raisins, sultanas, grapes in any form, fresh, dried, in cakes and mincepies have a very high risk of causing irreversible kidney damage to us......

Chocolate is poisonous, dark chocolate is so toxic one square in a smaller dog is enough to cause liver damage and death very quickly....

Xylitol (sweetner) will cause us to have a massive insulin release and possibly lapse into a hypoglycaemic coma if we are exposed to it.... (chewing gum=bad)

These are the big three toxic culprits at Christmas.
There are others, and let's not forget dangers to our feline friends too, mostly from ponsettias (toxic) and strand tinsel which if eaten can have disastrous consequences.....
