Lets be clear, when Arsene was moved out, it was 100% the right thing to do, and the new manager was always going to be on a hard pushed to improve us quickly, But the issues with this team is not just this season....
.... the spectacular failure of the back end of last season saw no improvement this, and in fact has got worse game by game. Its quite clear the players are confused and/or are not playing for him. He's completely lost the fans, even prior to the last couple of games.
So what now. If the club doesn't even make the Europa league for next season, that will be yet another £30m further loss in revenues, and worse than that loss of ticket revenues given the 7 cup games un season tickets...
... So can we trust them to get the decision on the next manager right, Given the close relationship with Kia Joorabchian (Edus agent) and Raul (been sitting next to him at many games), are we getting in a manager that will be the best for the club, or that suits Edu/Raul ..
... Because so far its been 100% ownership regime, its been an unmitigated disaster.
Biggest question is do we wait & get right person with the expected merry go round at the end of the season and put interim in charge until then, or get the right person now with compensation due
.... This really is such a rubicon for Arsenal now. One road could lead to drastic improvement and one to mediocrity that could be long term.
