TESLA’S INCREASINGLY GLOBAL FOOTPRINT

Model 3 in 2018 was largely a story about the U.S. market

But 2019 is now proving to be a story about Model 3’s extraordinary success in international markets

By way of illustration, here are the preliminary Model 3 numbers for 2019 :

Q1 : 50,928 deliveries and USA = 24,003 or 47.1%

Q2 : 77,634 deliveries and USA = 47,000 or 60.5%

Q3 : 79,703 deliveries and USA = 43,000 or 54.0%

Q4 est : 110,000 deliveries and USA = 45,000 or 40.9%

This means that in Q4 we are likely seeing 3 out of every 5 Model 3 cars shipping from Fremont to an international destination

And this is not the limit

The U.S. with 17.3 million vehicles is only 22.8% of the ~76 million vehicles in major markets currently accessed by Model 3
