PSA PSA!! I've noticed that some vegans/vegetarians have been feeding meat eaters vegan/vegetarian food without telling them that it's vegan and that's not ok. It maybe cool for a tweet but it certainly is not cool to the meat eater. Just like I would respect a plant-based-
-dietary restriction, I would expect the same and that you would tell us upfront so that we could be the judge of the food ourselves and if we want to eat it. This double standard is ridiculous! Why is it everyone is ok with not telling a meat eater a food is plant-based, but-
-let a meat eater even cook their vegan/vegetarian dish with some butter and the pitchforks will be out! Like I have no problem accommodating for a vegan/vegetarian, I'll make two versions of the meal and even label the vegan one vegan and say what was used to make it. But-
-some vegan/vegetarians are so quick to trick us to eat their food they won't even tell you what was used in the food, like I'm allergic to certain nuts pretty badly and certain legumes. Usually those certain nuts are used to make cheese and milk and both the nuts and legumes-
-are used as proteins. I do not want to be told its vanilla ice cream and the way my fatass would eat anything thinking it has dairy in it, I would eat it with no questions and next thing I know I'm swallowing 10 benadryl and my nose is running, my face is hot and swollen, and-
-my throat closes up because instead of milk its cashew milk and low and behold I'm highly allergic to cashews. Please give meat eaters the same amount of respect and boundaries because this tricking us into eating stuff is not cool and it's not a laughing matter. Ted talk over.
Also I'm not bagging on vegan/vegetarian food choices, in fact very open to them when it's not shoved down my throat on how meat is bad for you. I wanted to work at a vegan ice cream store before I found out I was allergic to cashews like 2 weeks ago.
