Personally, I never understood how this Creationism Vs Evolution dichotomy applies to Vedic positions on creation.
For example, In Tripura Rahasya it's stated that:

"कर्तारं शिवमाहुस्ते पञ्चवक्त्रं त्रिलोचनम्‌ ॥
स कर्ता घटकर्तेव चेतनः सशरीरकः।"

(To say, for instance, that the Primal Being is Siva with five faces and three eyes, the Creator would, in that case, be like an ordinary potter making pots, endowed with a body and brain. )

Therefore, Vedas reject some supernatural anthropomorphic entity sitting beyond the cosmos creating this universe like potter as described in the Bible.

As per Big Bang Theory on the origins of the universe. It says the universe began as explosion of a "hot and infinitely dense point only a few millimeters wide" singularity. This big bang resulted in the creation of matter, energy, "Time", and "Space".
4/10
Where did that singularity exist if there was no Space and Time prior to the big bang?

And I never see anyone talking about the following contradiction in the scientific theories of creation. Let me explain.
5/10
If one carefully looks at the development steps of the big bang, isn't there a contradiction in starting with "hot and infinitely dense point" (ie insentient point lacking any intelligence or ज्ञान) and then accepting self-effecting (स्वयंभवन ) quality in it?
6/10
How can self-effecting (स्वयंभवन ) quality (ie intelligence or ज्ञान) exist unless the singularity ie "hot and infinitely dense point" prior to big bang already had it? And without this self-effecting (स्वयंभवन ) quality there can be no evolution.
7/10
The other scientific alternatives to the big bang theory suffer from the same abv mentioned contradiction ie they assume insentient beginning point devoid of any intelligence or ज्ञान as starting point but bring in self-effecting (स्वयंभवन ) quality.

Hindu god (god of Vedas) in its essence is jñānasvarupa (ज्ञानस्वरुप) and nonanthropomorphic (ie प्रज्ञानं ब्रह्म ~ऋग्वेद). And it exists a-priori to any creation as material cause (upādāna kāraka) and instrument cause(nimitta kāraka) ie creator & creation are one & same
9/10
Therefore, creation models in Vedas don't suffer from the limitations as in Bible or contradiction as in Science as far as creation is concerned.
