Spent a lot of time thinking about how far I’ve come this decade. I’ve reached a place where I can provide for my family doing the things I love. A big part of that is the opportunities I’ve received along the way. I’d like to say thanks some of the people who said “YES” (Thread)
Thank you to @TestMastersLSAT & Robin Singh for my first job out of college. Teaching the LSAT provided the $ to pursue my dreams. More importantly, I learned empathy, responsibility & a LOT of logic over my 7 years teaching. Also, 4 hours a day of public speaking didn’t hurt 😉
Thank you to @UofMMA @jaytan716 @TuriAltavilla for my first job as a play-by-play commentator. They took a smart-mouthed, MMA-blogger and gave me the freedom to build my own style as a sportscaster. Those Sundays continue to be some of the most fun of my life.
Thank you to @TheComedyStore & @adameget for hiring me as a door guy (and not firing me). Four years of the best comedy (and life) education available on the planet. I’m smarter, funnier and more confident because of the Store and all the friends & family I made there.
Thank you to @supercell & @EsportsRoyaleEN for finding me (and the fam @AndrewGhai) and making me a part of CRL. This job and community has created possibilities for my family that I had never dreamed of. It has been truly life changing and I’m so grateful.
Thank you to @superleaguetv @briangramo & @DeephEriksen for making space for me on the team. The trust you put in me to take chances is immensely appreciated and exciting. I look forward to every single Monday. (I’ve got a surprise for you this week!)
I’ve worked very hard to get where I am. But no one gets anywhere on their own. Every single “YES” meant the world to me. Thank you, I am forever grateful.
