You know what. I agree.

There was no vote, nor was there anything to vote on.

But you insist on talking rubbish.

The fact is there was nothing to support in any case.

There wasn’t a deal done to buy the club contingent on @EFL agreeing to keep you in League 2. https://twitter.com/___Q__/status/1200186020395921408
It was a club currently owned by Steve Dale, with no stadium and no proper funding plan...

...and no named buyer.

You wanted a place in the @EFL without having a credible offer.

Even if you had a credible proposal I seriously doubt a vote would have gone in your...
...favour. There was very little support overall and no support in L2 because you were promoted falsely by failing to pay bills, beating other clubs to promotion, pushing clubs outside playoffs etc.

But I tried. I spoke to Steve Dale many times and potential buyers.
What happened at Bury is tragic. It would have happened at Accy. The @EFL Is piss poor as found by @DamianCollins

They allowed successive owners to put your club in terminal financial decline.

Then they let your club die. Steve Dale has fallen out with owners, EFL, players..
..and the most important people, the supporters.

I’ll believe to the day I die that there was no need for Bury to go under.

But goodwill was thin on the ground.

Now then, whilst I’m on my soap box...

@jamesfrith has done more than any MP to save Bury. We need changes and..
Highlighting of the issues at your club can lead to change. He asked me to come over to help him put a chat on. I agreed because of what he has done in highlighting issues in football.

He’s worked very hard and asked me if I could help him find a consortium of businesses to..
...buy Gigg Lane so that a Phoenix club could go home.

To this end, if publicity could help, I said I’d come over, on a day we don’t have a match, (when I’d rather be in the pub with my mates), if he thought it would help.

I am not interested in influencing @buryfcofficial
Nor am I interested in taking involvement in @BuryPhoenix

I responded positively to James’s request that’s all.

Regardless of all the above I sincerely hope Bury gets a club back soon. Towns need their clubs, and the depth of feeling you guys exhibit highlights this.
Good morning BTW.
