Finished reading "Troldmanden" a Danish book breaking the myth of a Good Browder fighting Evil. The #MagnitskiyHoax is pure PR-magic, but no matter the amount of magic it's none the less only PR. I'll thread the main points of interest from the book:

First the obvious curiosity: Ironically, though Browder actively uses the U.S. to build a wall against Russian tax collectors, he gave up his American citizenship in 1998 to avoid paying taxes. He is listed by CBS News as a “tax expatriate.”

He blatently invented the beating death in 2011 when he decided to create and lobby for the Magnitsky Act in the U.S. Congress to stop Russian authorities from pursuing him for $100 million in evaded taxes and illicit stock buys.

Browder’s initial statements about Magnitsky’s death, mention no beatings. From Chatham House: “I don’t know what they were thinking. Then his address to the San Diego Law School a few years later. “They put him into a straight-jacket, put him into an isolation room and waited outside the door for 1hr 18 minutes until he died.”
Browder changed his PR-stories about Magnitsky’s death.

Magnitskiy never uncovered the embezzlement: The tax fraud on the Russian Treasury was first reported by Rimma Starova in April 2008. The Russian newspaper Vedomosti
reported it in July 2008. Magnitsky mentioned in in testimony only in his October 2008 interrogation.

Also, Magnitsky, was never a lawyer & wasn't hired by Browder. He worked for the accounting/law firm Firestone Duncan which Browder hired in 1997 to handle his company accounts and tax filings. Magnitsky implemented an illegal tax evasion scheme using firms registered in Kalmykia

It was these companies in Kalmykia that evaded the 240 million Browder falsely claims was stolen. The Kalmyk company, was fully controlled by the Hermitage Capital fund and was used for financial fraud in order to make Hermitage assets appear " stolen".

Hermitage for years 'employed' disabled people – eg. a victim of the Chernobyl, an Afghan war veteran, and one challenged with a genetic disease and mental retardation –claiming them to be expert financial analysts ie. essentially props for the multi-million-dollar tax-fraud.

The "staff of each company consisted of the Director General Browder and disabled employees of the analytical department". Sergei Magnitsky acted as Chief Accountant of Dalnaya and 
Saturn working from offices of Firestone Duncan. 

#Troldmanden then goes on to skillfully narrate how Browder put his Public Relations and Propagada plan into play. The coming English translation from @BDyrekilde and co. is well worth waiting for. Hopefully it will blow the lid on the Browder can of lies.
