Most are funny but #flightattendants are taking a beating with the “is there a dr. on board” game but it’s what I do while I’m in grad school & has taught me tons AND I get free flight! What job did you do before your #phd that people make fun of? @AcademicChatter #academictwitter

It’s also worth noting that by doing this, I am able to work only three days a week while I go to school and stay out of debt. I see the world and do homework & writing on layovers. I have met amazing people & some not so amazing ones. Would love to meet any of you on a flight!

The replies are making me smile tonight as I sit in a hotel room by myself on an American holiday normally spent with family. A few threads I read about FAs were pretty nasty and making me a little sad thinking what my passengers might think of me. Thank you all & keep me coming!
