It’s so important to be aware of the false narratives relating to Thanksgiving. They are used to whitewash the genocide of Native Americans, which continues to this day. As an additional note, make sure your concern and compassion for Native people isn’t relegated to just today!

Indigenous people deserve support all year round. Please try to be aware of issues facing these communities and do what you can to help, whether that is making donations, supporting Native artists, spreading awareness, etc.
