A centrist by mind with a left Libertarian compass & a #ConservativeParty stance for the #GeneralElection2019 . Am I something of a tripolitical prodigy? Or are others just as perplexed by their own politicality in 2019?

Trying especially hard not to turn #GE19 into a personal #Referendum on #Brexit. The TV force feeds national issues but we’re still voting for local MP’s so I’ve been utilising Twitter to better understand local matters first. Turns out my preconceptions were justified.

#RossendaleBoroughCouncil has sufficient scandal & baggage under the blinkered & immune to repercussion Barnes ‘leadership’. In 2018, she found it ‘extraordinary’ a councillor would broach the subject of an ever increasing £5.3M #HousingScandal 3 years after it went public.

What’s truly extraordinary is #LancashireCountyCouncil's Audit Team findings. We’re now closing on 4.5 years since #RBC lost £5.3M (@ Dec 18) of #Taxpayers money. With no disciplinaries, accountability, responsibility or charges to date. Is it time for a #PublicEnquiry yet?

The #RossendaleTaxiLicensingScandal “Yeah there’s another one” In 2007 Rossendale licensed 150 taxis. Fast forward to 2017 & Rossendale was licensing almost 1500 taxis more than any other English council. Alyson Barnes - Rossendale council leader since’ I believe May 2011.

Post Rotherham #CSA scandal @rotherhamtiser reported that @RMBCPress had enforced strict new taxi licensing rules & that in 2016’ 17 taxis in Rotherham bypassed them by obtaining their license in Rossendale. Without morality @LabRossendale council stressed’ it was legal.
